Megan was born and raised in Winona, Minnesota. A small midwestern town on the banks of the Mississippi. She loves classic literature, Star Trek and was in a San Francisco moped gang for over a decade.


She has worked as a creative for the past 20 years and was included in Filmmaker Magazine's 25 New Faces of Independent Film. Megan honed her filmmaking skills editing feature films that have premiered at SXSW and Sundance.

Her films transport viewers into a vibrant, provocative and playful world where there are no rules except being your authentic self. They’re meant to connect with the viewer and elicit feelings that stir the mind at a instinctive level. They subvert mainstream conventions and celebrate individuality and freedom.
